Sanjay Lavakare transitioned from a 16-year career in IT to pursue painting full-time. His latest artwork is a reflection of the unique aspects of Koramangala, inspired by conversations with local residents. Originally part of Bengaluru's IT industry, Sanjay discovered his true passion for art and decided to pursue it full-time instead of taking a sabbatical. He has been showcasing his work at the Chithra Santhe annually. Sanjay delves into his newest artwork, capturing the essence of Koramangala. Collaborating with former neighbors, Ashish and Ritu, who still reside on L Street, Koramangala, they identified 50-60 elements specific to the neighborhood. While some elements in the painting are obvious, others require a bit of interpretation.
